This webinar will explore the driving forces behind declining regulatory substance use monitoring program participation numbers during the COVID-19 pandemic era. Findings from a NOAP sponsored survey of nurse regulatory monitoring programs will be presented, along with viewpoints on barriers to reporting and a nurse’s perspective on monitoring.

Learn the primary forces driving participation in nurse regulatory substance use monitoring programs. Understand the psychosocial effects experienced when reporting a colleague for substance misuse. Identify three common program elements that may act as barriers to program access and participation.
